Analysis: The movie is a deliberate attempt by Vijay to prove himself. It starts pretty well and will make the audience hope for an entertaining package. However, the fall is very steep, and it disappoints the audience. The movie is quite regular with predictable shots and sequences. The audience will expect something great from the climax, but it too does not have anything new in store. The movie is quite slow, and you will get bored while watching it. But Vijay should be applauded for the story.
The story has a classic love story, and Vijay has impressed the audience of this genre. One would expect some beautiful music from a romantic movie, and they will not feel disappointed with it. Also, the movie features some great comic sequences and can add another dimension to it.
Star Performances: Vikram Prabhu is in the lead role in the movie, and he steals the show with his acting. He seems very energetic throughout and takes the movie to another level. Keerthi Suresh must be praised for her performance. She has done pretty impressive considering this is her first film in the industry.
Nassar has done just enough to cross the line, and the rest of the crew is average. The screenplay has been quite slow, and Vijay has failed to present a fresh story. Nirav Shah has, however, is very good with his cinematography. Anthony could have done a better job in editing as the seems too slow.
What's there? It comes with a love story with a twist, and this is enough for the audience of the romantic genre. Also, the music is pleasing and so is the cinematography. The performances have been great, and the leads will enthrall you with their energy and performances.
What's not there? The movie lacks a good story and proper guidance. The direction has been average, and there is nothing new with Vijay's narration. Also, the movie seems slow after 20 mins in the first half and you might be frustrated.
Verdict: The movie has a regular story but beautiful music and cinematography. It is an average on the whole and can be watched once.
