Plot
Shankar and Maha are brother and sister. For Maha’s studies, they land in Kolkata and Shankar gets a taxi driver job, and works for Vamsi. Many girls go missing in the city and Shankar helps the cops to find the criminals. Alex, who leads the gang decides to kill Shankar and plans accordingly. Was he able to kill Shankar? Who is Shankar and is Maha really his sister? The rest of the story deals with this.
Star Performance
Chiru is impressive in his acting, dancing, and action performances. He is fine in emotional scenes. Keerthy Suresh has done justice to the given role. Tamannaah didn’t have anything significant to do, yet she did what was required. Murli and Tulsi fit well in their roles.
Analysis
Meher Ramesh remade the hit Tamil film with some changes that suit Telugu sensibilities. Yet, he couldn’t create the magic the original version created. The screenplay is not gripping and the comedy scenes are not impressive. The routine story and dialogues make the film weaker and even Chiru’s presence could not help elevate it. The music didn’t impress. Tamannaah should have been given a few more scenes. The talented stars are underutilized. Except for Chiru’s character, other characters are not designed well.

Bhola Shankar didn’t reach the expected mark due to the weak screenplay and execution. If you are Chiru’s fan, you can try it once!
