Plot
People in the village of Veerlapally are alcoholics. They consumed alcohol daily. If one day the alcohol shop is opened late, the people in the town become sick. They became happy only if the alcohol shop was open for a whole day. But their happiness turned into sadness when the government ordered to ban alcohol shop from this village. The villagers became sick, and some people even died. Women in the town were because their men were not drinking alcohol, but they were sad because their men did not does any work. Later, Dharani noticed Vennela. He likes to her but do not have enough courage to propose her. Shivanna and Rajanna are stepbrothers. If their current Sarpanch dies, one of these became Sarpanch. They came quickly became Sarpanch if they opened an alcohol shop. Dharani has a best friend called Siddham. Siddham told Dharani that he likes Vennela. Dharani become sad. He did not say to his feelings to his best friend. The Sarpanch of the village dies. Who will become the next Sarpanch? Will they open an alcohol shop to get votes from villagers? Will Dharani be able to tell his feelings to Vennela? The rest of the story deals with it.
Star Performance
Nani did an incredible performance in the film. He shows the real and true nature of the best friend. The way he executed the action scenes was excellent. Keerthy Suresh did an incredible performance in the movie. Her acting and visuals in the film were fantastic. Dheekshith Shetty did an impressive performance. His sadness, happiness, action scenes, and expression in the movie were outstanding. One would hate Shine Tom Chacko after watching this movie. That much impact this actor made in the film. He did a mind-blowing performance in the movie. He is a perfect actor for a villain role. All the other actors were as good as the main lead actors.
Analysis
The film shows various controversial subjects. The storyline was great. The action scenes were well executed. The theme of the film was confusing but later starter to become understandable. The over usage of alcohol is the central theme shown in the movie. The movie has various sub-themes. Politics, alcohol, and the desire or lust of a man towards a woman are the sub-themes of the movie. The title is not suitable for the film. The title ‘Dasara’ is a festival. But it did not play much significance in the film. The film should have a strong title. The action scenes were the most fantastic thing in the movie. The film should reduce some action scenes because it was overly used and it was going beyond the central theme. The plot twist was not shocking; it seemed to be expected– the film focus on real emotions. The dialogues were fantastic. The dialogues in the film made a massive impact in the movie. The background music was excellent. The music shows various emotions in the movie.
