Kingston To Stream On This OTT Platform

After tanking at the box office, Kingston has secured an OTT platform for release.

According to the recent reports, the Tamil horror adventure movie, starring GV Prakash Kumar and Divyabharathi in the lead roles, will soon be streaming on the OTT platform Zee5.

Kingston revolves around a struggling fisherman, who ventures out into cursed waters, only to realize that there’s no turning back. The movie was released on 7 March, a week ahead of the Holi holidays. However, despite the unique concept, the movie failed to attract audiences, ending with a lifetime collection of just 5 crores, compared to a budget of 20 crores.

The first quarter of 2025 has been marginally better for Kollywood, which was extremely forgettable in 2024.
