Suriya’s Film With Vetrimaaran Gets A Release Date?

Suriya’s much awaited collaboration with Vetrimaaran might finally be released in theatres.

According to the recent reports, Vetrimaaran’s next film is the much awaited Vadivaasal, with Suriya Sivakumar Suriya Sivakumar is undoubtedly the biggest star i >> Read More... in the lead role. Though it’s not exactly a sports drama, the movie has the popular Jallikattu as one of the crucial plot points.

If everything goes right, Vadivaasal will be releasing during mid 2026, i.e. around May or June. There were initially rumors that the film might be shelved due to constant delays. However, both Suriya and Vetrimaaran strongly refuted the same.

Vetrimaaran is currently on cloud nine, having won both critical and commercial gain with Viduthalai franchise. Since his debut with Polladhavan, Vetrimaaran has hardly delivered a flop film, and has won multiple National Awards with movies like Aadukalam, Visaranai, and Asuran, which also earned both Vetrimaaran and Dhanush National Awards for the Best Film in Tamil and Best Actor respectively.
