Raayan Restores Smiles To Kollywood

The Tamil box office has been a roller coaster ride since the beginning of 2024.

However, the fans have another reason to smile. According to recent reports, ‘Raayan’ has earned more than 150 crores worldwide!

This has made Dhanush the fifth actor overall in Tamil cinema to cross the coveted mark of 150 crores. In fact, he is the only actor with back to back commercial successes in Kollywood this year. ‘Raayan’ is a crime drama which is not only Dhanush’s 50^th film as a lead actor, but also his 2^nd film as both writer and director. Made on a budget of around 75 crores, ‘Raayan’ has earned double the amount, enough to be labelled a commercial HIT in Tamil cinema.
