Singer Varsha

Reality shows, for many, open the door to stardom and allow their dreams to come true. So it is for Varsha S Krishnan, a young Malayali. She is a singer who has appeared on several Malayalam and Hindi reality shows. She is from Palakkad. Varsha won "Junior Idol" in 2011 and 2014. She also made it to the last round of the Senior competition. Initially, the channel chose songs to sing that suited her voice and helped her gain confidence overall. The judges of "Junior Idol" were also very encouraging and supportive. Nirmala Ma'am trained her. The judges often recommended sweet melodies for her to sing in the Finale. 

Varsha moved to Chennai a few years ago to pursue her dream of becoming a singer. In June 2017, she graduated from "Madras Christian College" with a diploma in Visual Communication. She finished her first semester with ease and then joined Zee Network's Tamil reality show "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa." But, she still struggled through the second semester as she missed classes due to singing practice and rehearsals. Her efforts finally paid off. Varsha, also known as the "Golden Girl," received the trophy at the end of Zee TV's musical journey. She received a house worth Rs. 40 lakh as a reward for her efforts. Ramani Ammal was the first runner-up. The second runner-ups were Sanjay and Shrinidhi. Jaskaran, another contestant named the “Entertainer of the Season,” received a cash prize of Rs. 50,000. The final results were declared based on the marks given by the jury and public voting. Initially, Varsha struggled with the Tamil language but managed to learn it quickly. Western rounds were particularly difficult for her because they were not her strong suit. However, she surprised everyone by giving her best performance in that round. Throughout the season, she delivered 16 Golden performances, leaving a great impression on the jury. The memories she created will stay with her for the rest of her life. She became an idol for many aspiring young talented people, encouraging them to pursue their dreams.
