Krishnan Ganesan

Krishan Ganesan is a singer and software engineer based in Hyderabad, Telangana. He holds a degree in Master of Software Engineering in Computer Science from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. He started his career in 2018 as an Engineering Manager at Arcesium. He worked to improve the technical architecture, people management, system design, project management code reviews, budgeting, performance management, hiring, solutions, and delivery.

He also led the transaction master group at Arcesium to develop and maintain a large-scale service framework for firm-wide trade transactions, security data, and references. Then, he switched to another firm called Compass in February 2021 and built the Android charter for the Compass India Development Centre. He was also responsible for designing an architecture and improving the operational metrics, relevant tools, and technologies for the future of the app. As part of this company, he also identified the problems for improving agent-consumer experience and productivity in the app.

Since September 2022, Krishan has been working as a Principal Software Engineering Manager at Microsoft and works in the energy sector to drive industry-specific conversations with customers in order to help them digitally transform their vertically specialized customer experiences and operational processes. As a singer, Krishnan made his musical debut with a Telugu film, Meeku Maatrame Chepta. It was released in 2019 and directed by Shammeer Sultan.

The movie was about a character Rakesh who tells a lie to his fiancé that he is a teetotaller. But the situation gets out of control when one of his compromising videos gets leaked just two days before his wedding. The song was composed by Sivakumar and also featured another singer, Hemachandra Vedala. Before this, he was working as a Keyboard player in a Telugu music band called Nirval. Nirval had the opportunity to perform for several artists across India such as Thaikkudam Bridge, Masala Coffee, Agam, Catharsis, Guitar Prassana (guitarist for A.R Rahman), Sunburn, Soul Sante, and played across three different continents. He also performed in various cities within India including Jaipur, Udaipur, Bangalore, Chennai, Vizag, Vijayawada, etc.

His band was also featured in different popular newspapers of India such as The Hindu, Indian Express, and Times of India and he was also featured on the cover page of ‘You and I’ magazine. Moreover, Krishnan has also worked as a software engineer for a video game called The Godfather: Gangland. In his career, Krishnan has also received several awards for his work. In June 2009, he was awarded with Best Outgoing Student by PSG College of Technology for excellence in academics, leadership, and research during the academic years 2004-2009.

In 2018, he also received the Young Alumni Award for his noteworthy contributions in developing and maintaining large-scale frameworks and firm-wide innovations and co-founding an AI research laboratory for socio-economic reforms by working with professors from Harvard and New York University. Moreover, Krishnan is highly skilled in Technical Designing, Shell Scripting, Software Engineering, Project Management, Spring Framework, Cloud Computing, Singing, and Keyboard Playing.
