Adityaram is a film producer who has produced four Telugu movies in the past. He is the founder and chairman-cum-managing director of Adityaram Group, which has diversified into filmmaking, investment and banking, and real estate business. In the year 2015, Adityaram won the ‘Best Realty Brands’ Award from The Economic Times Group. Mr. Adityaram has, under his name, a film production banner named ‘Adityaram Movies’ that has produced many successful movies in the past.
The fusion company Adityaram Group has set up Adityaram Studios (P) Ltd, near East Coast Road Chennai, which has now become the busiest and hectic schedule spot for various films and TV serial shootings. The studio has set up a huge artificial stage for Kamal Hassan’s movie, ‘
Dasavatharam’. The studio saw hectic shooting activity for Rajinikanth’s movie, '
Kabali', and Vijay’s ever-costly film, '
Puli'. Even Suriya’s latest movie, ‘24’, and Vijay’s just released movie, ‘
Theri’, was successfully shot in the studio complex. The studio is spread over 16 acres of land and can accommodate over 750 artists on an erected set in the complex.
It may be noted that 'Adityaram Movies’ has produced four successful Telugu movies since 2002. ‘
Sandade Sandadi’, a super hit blockbuster Telugu film, was the first movie of 'Adityaram Movies’, which was directed by Muppalaneni Shiva. In the year 2004, another family entertainer, ‘Kushi Kushiga’, a Telugu flick, was directed by
Ram Prasad. The third venture to churn out from this production house was the Telugu movie, ‘Swagatham’, in 2008, directed by Dasarath. The last venture to roll out was another family entertainer called ‘
Ek Niranjan’, which released in 2009, and was directed by Puri Jagannadh.
Adityaram is a great film producer in the Telugu circle and his Telugu movies were even remade in Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam and Tamil languages. For instance, ‘Kushi Kushiga’, was made in Tamil (Engal Anna) and 'Ek Niranjan', was dubbed into Tamil (Police Dada), Malayalam (Game), and Hindi (Ek Hi Raasta). 'Sandade Sandadi' was a remake of a Kannada film called 'Kothigalu Saar Kothigalu', and later a Hindi version of the movie released with the title 'Shaadi No.1'.
