She was born on September 21, 1981, in South India. She was majorly raised in Chennai, India. Udayan a prosperous businessman. She completed her schooling at Sacred Hearts Matriculation School, Chennai. She was often acclaimed as, a dreamer in her childhood, and during those early ages, she developed her keen interest in the Film Industry. While studying at college, she commenced working as a script coordinator for several productions, which made her quite famous in the Industry. Moreover, she equally allocated her time amidst holding her job as a script coordinator, creating stories for television and her under-graduation studies.

Kirtana went to Ethiraj College, Chennai, and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree majoring in Economics in 2002. Following that, she began working towards her career and landed numerous projects as the Executive and Associate Producer and also produced a few series. Later, she moved to Dubai to attain international experience and got one job as the production Manager at famous Ten Sports for the English Premier League, live events.
