Su Thirunavukkarasar

Su Thirunavukkarasar, the politician, was born on 13th July 1949 in Theeyathoor in Pudukottai district. He completed his MA in Madras University, Chennai and BL in Venkateshwara University in Tirupathi. He entered into politics in 1977 as a cadre of All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam. Thirunavukkarasar contested in Aranthangi constituency and became the MLA. At the age of 27, he was elected as the Deputy Speaker in Legislative Assembly, Tamilnadu.
