Rajasekharan, the second of eight children born to lower-middle-class Nair family members Sreedharan and Rugmani Amma on November 12; 1955, entered the world. Their village is Chenkal in Kerala State's Neyyattinkara Taluka's Thiruvananthapuram district. Given the financial hardships his family was experiencing and the terrible lack of amenities in their village, Rajasekharan could not continue his education beyond matriculation. He left his hometown in search of employment. He arrived in Mumbai at 17 after a grueling journey, and he immediately started working odd jobs in restaurants. He was drawn to the hospitality industry during this time, and he has remained in that soul-satisfying career ever since, entertaining guests, feeding people, and bringing happiness and fulfillment to travelers from all over the world. After he met Mumbai hotelier Nanak Chand Agarwal and began working with him and his son Dinesh Kumar Agarwal, his life improved.

He rose in status from a lowly employee to a hotel manager due to his commitment and labor. When Dinesh opened a second hotel and entrusted it to Rajasekharan, his life began to change. He effectively managed both businesses, understanding the nuances of customer satisfaction and how to integrate profitable business methods to run a hospitality firm successfully. He did this with grace and the business acumen he had learned. He eventually bit the bullet and opened four restaurants between 1985 and 1990 after gaining the courage to believe he could succeed on his own. He did this by working tirelessly, being dependable, being fair in all business interactions, and maintaining a constant focus on quality. He has received numerous honors and medals from the government and other organizations. From 2008 until 2015, the Kerala Government's Department of Tourism gave him the "Best Four Star" award for his "Uday Samudra Beach Resort." Additionally, from 2010 through 2015, he constantly got the World Luxury Hotel Award Organization's "Best Coastal Hotel" Award.

He received the "Indian Leadership Award for Hospitality and Tourism" from the All-India Achievers' Foundation in 2011 and the "Tourism Entrepreneur" Award from the Kerala Sahridaya Vedi in 2009. The Union of German Malayalees Association (UGMA) and the Inspire Achievement Award Organization presented him with the "Business Excellence" Award in 2013. The School Entrepreneur Challenge of the United Kingdom has named his school in Chennai as the "Regional Winner" for the Asia-Pacific area. Rajasekharan is fortunate to have a family fully supportive of all his endeavors. He is married to Udayachandrika, also known as Radha, a well-known character actress, and Kalaimamani Award winner in the South Indian cinema industry.

They are parents of three kids. Vignesh, Karthika and, Thulasi is a hotel management students pursuing their higher education in London, Karthika, is a film actor who attends London University, a thespian who studying BBA at Cambridge University respectively. In a word, Rajasekharan Nair's narrative is one of perseverance that pays off, hard work that endures, concern for one's fellow human beings that brings contentment, and respect for nature and the environment that brings delight. In the upcoming years, India's hotel sector may anticipate much more from him.
