Panimalar is a Tamil news anchor and journalist. She was born in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, on 13 November as Panimalar Panneerselvam. She completed her graduation from RVS College of Arts and Science from Sulur, a small town of Tamil Nadu. After completing her studies, she joined Tamil language cable channel Sun Tv in 2010 and served as anchor till one year. After leaving Sun Tv, she became a journalist in PuthiyaThalaimurai Tv and left it in 2015.
She also worked as a producer in News7 Tamil for four years. In 2019 she joined DMK’s channel Kalaignar Seithigal, as Joint Output Editor and anchor. Her father name is SRP Selvam Panneerselvam and has two brother Veeramani Panneerselvam and Vivek Selvaraj. Panimalar also founded a Youtube Channel, “World Of Panimalar Panneerselvam’, where she shared news stories related to politics and controversies.
