Hansika Motwani. Sharmila is said to select only peppy songs to perform and not explore sentimental and melody songs. When asked for the reason behind this preference, she says that she feels fast paced songs are more suitable to her voice and that maybe the reason for the music directors also to suggest mostly pop songs to her.
Even while giving live performances on stage, Sharmila prefers to sing live and energetic songs compared to soulful, soothing music as she does not like to stand at a spot and sing.
