Sameera Reddy is the famous Bollywood actress who also appeared in some of the Telugu and Tamil movies. Born in Andhra Pradesh to a businessman Chinta Poli (her father) and a microbiologist Nakshatr a(her mother), Sameera did not look as pretty as the girls of her time. Her mother worked with an NGO also. Sameera has two elder sisters both of which have earned name and fame. Meghna Reddy has been a supermodel and a VJ and Sushma Reddy has also been a model and an actress. All three girls were highly talented since birth.

Sameera completed her schooling and graduation both from Mumbai itself. As compared with other girls, Sameera did not possess the same glamorous look. She was rather more of a tomboy personality. In school, she used to be plump with specs on eyes. But after the age of 19, her stars turned and she ultimately started her career in the modeling field. Just after graduation, she appeared in the album Aur Aahista of Pankaj Udas in 1997. After this album, she has to take a long break but then her film Maine Dil Tujhko Dia released in 2002 was a breakthrough in her life.
