Archana is a South Indian actress who is well known for her dances. She is a famous actress of Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi films. She has also performed in a Bengali movie “Bagh Bahadur” in 1989. She played an important role in an English movie “Gangapur”. She is a woman of many languages.
Archana was born in a Telugu family in Andhra Pradesh. She is an actress with a degree of Graduation in Performing Arts from Tamil Nadu Institute of Film Technology. She started her career with a Hindi film “Yadoon ke Baraat”. She ruled over Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam Cinema for more than two decades. She won “National Film Award for Best Actress” and “Filmfare Award for Best Actress” for Tamil film “Veedu” in 1988.
She achieved almost all national awards for best acting in her career. She said that she still enjoy to be on the screen.
