Thiagarajan Kumararaja is an Indian film and ad director and also a screenplay writer. He is born in the year 1976 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India and bred in the same place. He works in the Tamil industry and is very famous for his contribution. Thiagarajan is a National Award winning filmmaker in the category of Best Film of a Director.

Just because he wanted to make films, he soon dropped the Visual Communication course from The Loyola College. He later started working as a photographer and writer. He was not good at studies. He used to like the subject only if the teacher was good, if not, then he did not study for that subject. In Class 12th, he flunked Mathematics; it was not an exciting subject for him. In his childhood, he used to stay at home because his parents thought that he would adopt bad habits if he goes out. On his way from home to school, in Porur to Santhome Higher Secondary School, he always stood near the bus driver and observed the fluctuating speed and gears of the bus.

At that time he was so fascinated by it that he wished to be a PTC bus driver. Kumararaja is a great animal lover. Rats are his most favorite. He finds cats very pretty and is fond of them so much that he wanted to have a cat tattoo. He had few relationships, but none of them did last for a longer period. Biking is his hobby, and whenever he wants to go somewhere, he goes on his bike. He enjoys watching good films, but he gets disappointed and feels bad if he sees a bad movie. His favorite flicks are Sholay, Deewar, Pattanathil Bhootham and some more. He is also a song lover. Kumararaja is just the opposite of his films' characters.

Kumararaja has penned down all songs of the film Va (2010). He wrote dialogues for the film Oram Po (2007). It took almost four years for him to come up with his debut film. After all, the process beginning from script writing to find a producer and get a cast to shoot takes a lot of time. Resulting in such a marvelous film, patience, and hard work is equally needed. Thiraivannan, also famous for his great comedy in his films, is an Indian director and writer. He is originally from Ramanathapuram, a city also known as Ramnad. He currently resides in Chennai, India. His interest includes lyric writing and film-making. In the Tamil Cinema Industry, he gets appreciation for his excellent sense of humor which reflects in his films, and its' scripts. His name can also be written as Thirai Vannan. He started his career in 2010 with his debut film 'Kacheri Arambam' as a director. This film has Jiiva and Poonam Bajwa as lead characters and J. D. Chakravarthy playing a vital role. 'Kacheri Arambam' is a comedy action film which released on 19th March 2010. Of course, the first movie is an important one for every director, but for Thiraivannan, this film is close to his heart as it is shot in his hometown Ramanathapuram. Besides direction, the' writer' of Kacheri Arambam is also Thiraivannan. He took help of the realistic situations around him and observed them regularly to write the script of his debut project. The movie casts Naina Sarwar, Shiva, Srinivasan, and, Jangiri Madhumita in the lead roles. The topic in the comedy thriller film Adra Machan Visilu, according to the audience and critics was an important one to be focused upon, in the current scenario of the cinema industry. Critics also mentioned that the film could have been better if the director would have interpreted it well. The director, as well as the writer of this movie, is Thiraivannan. Thiraivannan takes his own time to research and come up with new projects but this time he is soon preparing his next project, and will start working on the script. He is undoubtedly a brilliant personality who gives way to a different and rare topic every time.
