Jai Amar Singh is a well-known Tamil director, writer and content creator. He is famous for his movie College (2022) and Malar (2019). He was born in the city of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Having earned an undergraduate degree from Loyola College and a degree in filmmaking from the University of Bedfordshire, he has honed his abilities in all facets of filmmaking process. He began his career as an associate director in the Tamil film industry, working under renowned directors such as Kathir, Hari, and Ahmed. He directed his debut feature film, College Road in 2013, which received a lot of recognition and appreciation by audiences for its genuine portrayal of college life. He has also directed two tele-serials for Colors Tamil, Sivagami and Malar. Besides, he worked with the Singapore Vasantham Channel and provided quality content that gained a lot of praise from the audiences.
