Raghuram was an Indian movie choreographer. He has worked in many movies and big budget film stars. He has worked with big banners and famous superstars like Mithun Chakraborty, Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth. He has worked even as an actor in some movies. He was born in the family blessed with talent and art. His grandfather K. Subramanian was a Tamil director. The effortless classical dancer Padma Subrahmanyam is his aunt. He was fond of dancing since childhood and began at a very young age. When he was five years old, he took training of Kathakali, from Gopinath. He learned Bharata Natyam from dancer K. J. Sarasa. 1960 he did a duet performance with J. Jayalalitha. After seeing his dance A. K. Chopra had asked him to assist for an M. G. Ramachandran movie. Raghuram had choreographed in many movies.

His work was not just served in Tamil movies but was also in Bollywood and Telugu and Malayalam movies. He worked with Kamal Haasan when he had just started his career in the movie ‘Sagara Sangamam’ in 1983. He had even choreographed the super hit musical movie film ‘ Ek Duuje Ke Liye.’ In 1995, he had even directed a Bengali movie starring Mithun Chakraborty and Rajinikanth. Raghuram got married to Girija, who was also a choreographer. They both have two daughters. Suja and Gayathri are also a part of the film industry like their family. Suja is well- known television personality and has done Malayalam and Kannada movies. Gayathri is a choreographer and has also been a part of some movies. In 2012, an event was held to felicitate fifty years of Raghuram in the film industry. The event was named as Amma Appa Guru Deivam. He died on his 64th birthday due to a heart attack in Chennai.

Mugur Sundar is known for donning various hats: actor, dancer, director, and choreographer. He is known as the guru of contemporary dance sequences in south Indian movies and has choreographed dancing steps for several Indian actors. He is also famous in the film fraternity as the father of noted choreographer, dancer, actor Prabhu Deva. Even Mugur Sundar was an excellent choreographer who has directed over 10,000 dance sequences in various South Indian movies.  The choreographer Mugur Sundar is also known as dance master Sundaram or Sundaram Master in film circle.  Master Sundaram has been the choreographer right from MGR- Shivaji time. He was born in Mysore in a village named Mugur. Besides Prabhu Deva, he has two other sons Raju Sundaram and Nagendra Prasad. He directed his first Kannada film in 2001 titled as ‘Manasella Neene,' which was a remake of Telugu film ‘Manasanthaa Nuvve.' He directed this film as a launch pad for his son Nagendra Prasad, who had played a lead hero in this movie.  Dance master Sundaram won National Film Award for Best Choreography for his work in film ‘Thiruda Thiruda’ (1994). Also, he is also the recipient of Vijay Award for contribution to cinema in 2011. In 1999, he was also honored with Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award for his meaningful contribution to South Indian cinema.  This eminent choreographer was also an acclaimed judge for children dance reality show ‘Putani Pantru’ along with two more judges, actress Rakshitha, and director Guru Prasad. The show was aired in 2015 on Suvarna Channel. Dance master Sundaram was also a judge for another dance show ‘AATA 4’ which was telecast on Zee Telugu. Besides, he also appeared as a judge for Vijay TV’s popular show ‘Jodi No 1’ and ‘Jodi No 2’ where the participants were television artistes.  In the year 2012, Sundaram also performed the role of a scientist in the film ‘Pa Ra Palanisamy’ which was his first movie with a strong character. Also, he performed a cameo role in a Kannada film ‘Thabbali’ in which he even choreographed a song. He also had made actors like N.T Rama Rao, Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Rajnikanth, Kamal Haasan, Nagesh to dance to his steps.  Dance is an important element of Indian cinema. Some actors have rhythm in their step while others have to work really hard to get it right. Brinda is one of the best choreographers of South Indian cinema and Bollywood. Her name comes in the list of the greatest artist of the 21st century. Brinda through her talent and dance moves made it to the South Indian film industry and Bollywood also. Brinda has worked in the glamour industry for past 20 years as a professional choreographer. Brinda dedicated all her life to choreographing and assisting various notable actors. According to Brinda, she was not a good student in school and had an inclination towards extra-curricular activities like acting in plays and dance. She is not a highly educated person and has studied till class 12th only. Brinda listed English as her favourite subject in school and her interest in dancing started because of her family members. Brinda had six siblings, and she was the youngest of all. Her family was an impoverished one and had to live in one room only because of their financial condition. All the sisters of Brinda are in this business of creating dance moves. Her elder sisters Girija and Kala are also trained choreographers. Brinda had a knack of dancing since her childhood. She underwent the training of Bharatanatyam under the guidance of her uncle, Raghu Master, a notable choreographer. She was a student of class 10th at that time. She started choreographing by assisting her uncle Raghu Master and after that, there was no one that could stop her. After a few years, she established a business of her own and bagged her first film project in the year 1995. Her first solo work was the Tamil flick, 'Nandhavana Theru'. Her next choreography was for the film 'Ullathai Allitha', in which she created dance movements for the song, Azhagiya Laila. According to her, she never decided that she would head up in this profession. Achieving fame was easy for her because of her family background of dance masters. Brinda went ahead to create dance moves for Hindi movies as well. Some of the movies in which she worked as a dance master are Phool Aur Kaante, 'Ashoka The Great', 'Hulchul', 'Chup Chup Ke', 'Bodyguard', 'PK' and much more. She has also worked in South Indian language films like 'Aavida Maa Aavide', 'Chatrapathi', 'Kannathil Muthamittal', 'Immini Nalloraal', 'Kaaki Sattai' and much more. Brinda got the opportunity to make famous stars like Aamir Khan, 'Rajinikanth', Akshay Kumar and various others to dance on her steps and movements. Brinda tied the knots with Parameshwar, and they are the proud parents of twin sons. Brinda also received several awards including National Film Awards, 'Vijay Awards' and 'Filmfare Awards' under the category of Best Choreographer.
