Gayathri Suresh is a well known Malayalam film actress and model best known for her role as ‘ Parvathy’ or ‘Paru’ in the Malayalam movie, ‘Jana Pyari’ starring Malayalam film’s most loved star, Kunchacko Boban. Gayathri’s entry into the field of modeling and cinema was made after her tryst with the Miss Kerala beauty pageant in the year 2014. She was born in the year 1992 in the city of Thrissur in the state of Kerala and was born to parents, Rekha Kumar and Suresh Kumar. Young Gayathri Suresh completed her higher secondary education and pursued the field of commerce for her graduation.

After graduating from college, Gayathri joined with the South Indian Bank, a private sector bank, where she was selected for campus placement. She later pursued higher education and decided to get a Master's Degree in Business Administration, (MBA). During her college life, Gayathri was an active dancer and even spent a year for undergoing special training in classical dance. During her earlier days, although she never dreamt of going into the entertainment field, she was an active participant in college festivals and also sung for several programs in club events. 

It was in the year 2014 that Gayathri had been advised to try her luck at modeling. Eventually, she sent in her application for the Miss Kerala beauty pageant along with 300 other applicants. She was shortlisted in the final 22 contestants for the pageant and emerged as the victor. She was approached by filmmaker Thomas Sebastian to star alongside Kunchacko Boban and AJu Varghese in his latest release ‘ Jamna Pyari’, for which she gained popularity in Kerala. She was praised by the audience as well as the critics for her portrayal of the character ‘Paru’ or ‘Parvathy’. She made her debut appearance alongside some of the best actors in the industry like Renji Panicker and Suraj Venjaramoodu.
 

Anjana Menon

Anjana Menon is an Indian movie actress who predominantly works on the Tamil and Malayalam films. She was born on October 19, 1988, in Angamaly, Kerala in India. She is now a resident of Bangalore, Karnataka, India. She graduated high school at the Air Force School and later took Bachelor of Arts and a Masters Degree in Human Resources at the Christ University in Bangalore. Anjana is the daughter of Nirmala, a dancer and artist who became part of Dan Baron’s Hollywood film, Basmati Blues. Initially, she worked for a short period as an HR Associate in the Times of India while working in several modeling campaigns. It was never her plan to pursue a career in acting until she received a call from director Rajesh Pillai, who directed her debut film, Traffic; a Malayalam thriller film, which stars Sreenivasan, Kunchacko Boban, Anoop Menon and more. Anjana also donned several ad campaigns for popular brands like MIR Realtors, Malayala Manorama, Paul Alukkas and more. She is also a trained Kalaripayattu dancer. After her successful stint in Traffic, she acted in the Malayalam musical drama film, 3 Dots, opposite Biju Menon. Prior to this, she made a cameo role in B R Jacob’s Police Maman, but this film flop at the box office. Anjana got many offers after 3 Dots, but she was quite selective with the role as she prefers prominent characters only. In 2013, she played the lead female role in Gireesh Kunnummal Malayalam film, Chuzhali Kattu, alongside Jayakrishnan. In the same year, she acted in Udayachandran’s Black Ticket together with Saikumar, Prem Kumar, Siva, Anil Murali and Sajeer Sadaf. However, due to the failure of her films, she became unnoticed by the audience. Luckily, she continues to receive several film offers and even appeared in the Tamil-Telugu bilingual film, Payanangal Thodarkindrana, helmed by the debutant, Dheswin Prem. In 2015, she played the role of DCP Bhuvneshwari in Chandra Mahesh’ action thriller film, High Alert. This film was shot consecutively in Tamil, Kannada, Telugu and Malayalam. Anjana said that her role in the film was very challenging, and there was even a time that her ears got affected due to the gunshot from a scene where she’s riding a bike while shooting with her left hand. It took her three months to recover, but the good thing is she managed to play her role excellently. Recently, she signed for another Malayalam film entitled 97 Batch Maharajas, which features Anoop Menon and Jayasurya in the lead role.
