Mohanlal Is Overwhelmed With The Dadasaheb Phalke Honor

Mohanlal is overwhelmed by the Dadasaheb Phalke honor.

The superstar was recently awarded with one of the highest honors in Indian cinema, the Dadasaheb Phalke Achievement award.

The Malayalam superstar is yet to let the feeling of winning this honor sink  in. He thanked everyone from his family to his friends and his colleagues in the movie industry. He promised to serve Indian cinema as much as he could.

Mohanlal Vishwanathan is mostly well known for his stint in Malayalam cinema, although he has performed ably well in other industries too, with films like Iruvar, Jailer, Company, Janatha Garage etc. Mohanlal also received the honorary rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Territorial division of the Indian Army for his roles as Major Mahadevan in movies like Keerti Chakra, Kurukshetra etc.

Mohanlal was last seen in the comedy drama Hridayapoorvam. Despite clashing with Lokah : Chapter 1 – Chandra, the movie not only sustained at the box office, but also emerged as a significant commercial success.
