Plot
Shiva, a cop, is transferred to a new city. He moves with his family to a rented house. The semi-furnished house has a sewing machine. Soon, Shiva’s family started experiencing the presence of supernatural power in their house. They find out that the sewing machine is possessed, as it operates automatically. Besides this, the spirits of a mother and daughter reside in the house. Why are they there? What’s their connection with the sewing machine? Is there any connection between them and Shiva’s family? The rest of the story discusses all these.
Star Performance
The performances are okay.
Analysis
The story has nothing special, and it is a template horror story. Usually, the spirits wait to avenge the killers for a reason. But, in this film, the spirits don’t know why they wait to avenge. The VFX effects are weak due to the budget constraints. The horror elements are very normal, and the audience didn’t even get a chance to be shocked by the horror scenes. Except for the flashback scene, nothing is spooky. There are no twists, and the screenplay is bland. The music, visuals, and editing are average.
