Unlike the previous two instalments, the director wants to focus less on the mind games, and more on the equation between George Kutty and his family. He has made it clear that the movie won’t aim to overpower the aura of the first two movies. 

Directed by Jeethu Joseph, and loosely based on the Japanese novel The Devotion of Suspect X, Drishyam was released in 2013 with Mohanlal, Meena and Geetha Prabhakar in the lead roles.
