Soubin Shahir is a well-known actor and an assistant director in Malayalam films. He assisted many renowned directors in his career before his acting career started. He made his first debut film with Kaiyethum Doorath. He earned wide fame for Alphonse Putharen’s Premam in which he played the role of a P.T Master. Soubin also featured in some of the recent hit movies stealing the hearts of many people. On his foray in direction, he said “I always wanted to be a director.” He believes that director Rajeev Rai brought him in front of arc lights. The actor is still uncomfortable when it comes to facing the camera and says that he becomes a bit nervous when it comes to acting.

Soubin has different styles of working and says if needed, he will continue to assist everyone he has worked with before and says that “Every film is a new experience and it involves new style of working.” He is to become a director with Parva and Anwar Rasheed would be the producer of the new film. The film has new faces as its main characters and would reach the screens this Christmas season. The story, screenplay, and dialogues will jointly be written by Soubin Shahir and Muneer Ali. There was a controversy going on in one of Abu’s film. Soubin’s character was Crispin, who is a Mohanlal fan. Mohanlal fans trolled Aashiq Abu, and the reason was that the film portrayed the fact that Mammootty can do any kind of role like Tamil person, etc while Mohanlal could do only roles of Nair and Verma. This statement made the Mohanlal fans annoyed, and they began to troll the producer. The controversy ended peacefully. Vinay Forrt, the Malayalam actor, was born in 1983 as Vinay Kumar in Kochi in Kerala. His parents are M. V. Mani and Sujatha. He has two siblings, Suma, a sister and Shyam, his brother. Vinay did his primary education in Boys School in Fort Kochi. During his first year graduation, he joined Lokadharmi theatre and started acting in the plays. Martin Prakkat is a movie director who works in the Malayalam movie industry. He is also a producer, writer, and photographer. Martin went to Changanassery SB College. It was here at Changanassery that he started doing theater. He won the Best Actor Award several times in his college dramatics fest. After college, Martin took up photography and worked with the Vanitha Publications, a sister publication of the magazine Manorama, for ten years. He got into photography as a means to enter the films. After his stint at photography, he started writing scripts with Byju Chandran, his college friend. He was spotted by South superstar Mammootty, with whom Martin did his first film. He has directed three movies in a short span of time. Martin made his directorial debut with the movieBest Actor, which released in 2010. The movie was jointly written by Prakkat and Bipin Chandran. It had debutante actress Sruthi Krishnan and superstar Mammootty in the lead. The movie showcases the journey of a teacher in a primary school from Uttar Pradesh, played by Mammootty, who dreams of becoming a film actor. Martin had earlier named the movie Oru Cinemakkatha. The movie was well received. The critics also praised Prakkat’s efforts. Martin’s next directorial venture came out in 2013. The movie’s name wasABCD (American-born Confused Desi). The movie was produced by Shibu Thameens and had his first movie’s lead actor Mammootty’s son Dulquer Salmaan in the lead. The film also had the likes of Aparna Gopinath, Jacob Gregory, and Tovino Thomas in important roles. It was Aparna’s debut movie, which was finalized after some actresses were considered for the role. The movie revolved around the two cousins John Issac and Korah. ABCDfailed to garner as much success as his first movie but did decent business. After a small setback, the director came out with the movie Charlie on December 24th, 2015. Charlie turned the tables and was a huge blockbuster. Prakkat, along with Unni R, wrote the screenplay of the film. It again had Dulquer Salmaan playing the lead character Charlie and had actress Parvathy playing the female lead. The movie collected 8 Kerala State Film Awards. Martin won the Best Director as well as the Best Screenplay Award, which he shared with Unni R. The movie also won honors at the Asiavision Awards, Asianet Film Awards, and Vanitha Film Awards. Prakkat’s favorite actor is South superstar Mohanlal. The director admitted that he wasn’t confident enough to direct Mohanlal in a film. He had plans to direct the actor after his first film, but the project was dropped because of various reasons. He plans to work with him in the future.
