Vipin Atley Malayalam Actor

Vipin Atley

Vipin Atley is a director and a filmmaker in the Malayalam Movie Industry. He made a notable space in the Malayalam Cinema for himself with ‘Homely Meals’. Vipin is a budding director, and he says that people have started recognizing him. He made his debut as a scenarist and an actor in Homely Meals, directed by Anoop Kannan under the banner of Lal Jose Production House. In a television show, Lal Jose had vouched for the film. The film had a bunch of new faces and veterans like Manoj K Jayan and Nedumudi Venu. It got mixed reviews from critics and fared average at the box office. Vipin approaches things in a pragmatic way, and that is the reason there weren’t any big faces in his film. He is of the opinion that old times had gone when people used to watch a movie based on the popularity of the heroes. He further adds that the viewers have started appreciating small budget movies as well. Vipin has hosted a famous show on a channel, just like in Homely Meals. He has also assisted many directors in advertisements and films. Vipin believes in following the footsteps of eminent personalities like Srinivasan and Balachandra Menon. He was offered a lead role in Homely Meals by Anoop Kannan after latter’s Mammootty starrer Jawan of Vellimala. Vipin does the role of Allen Mathew in Homely Meals. Allen is someone, who dreams to make it big in the television industry. The movie is a hilarious ride and at times, the sequences go beyond the limit of fictional comedy. All the characters in the film have got inspired by real life examples, whether it is the role of the head of the channel, essayed by Manoj K Jayan or the editor, Basil. Vipin says that the character of Srinda was, in reality, a guy, but the actress was selected to give the movie a romantic angle.
