Manoj Alappuzha

Manoj Alappuzha was a costume designer born on 15th August 1969 in Thiruvambady, Azhappuzha in Kerala. His parents are Chepunkeri Sreedharan Pillai and Rajamma. Manoj joined as an assistant to Velayudhan Keezhillam and worked for a lot of films. Manoj won the Best Costume Designer Award twice at the Kerala State Film Awards; for CID Moosa in 2003 and Twenty 20 in 2009. Manoj was married to Lakshmi. The couple has two daughters, Ammu and Anu. Manoj had diabetes-related issues. He was admitted to Kozhikode Medical College hospital for treatment. But, he died on 1st December 2011.
