As an undergraduate, he studied subject English and afterwards went ahead to New York University to get a Master's degree in Creative Writing. After completing college, he put in eight years running a Manhattan-based organization that made showcases for jewelery companies. He composed at evenings and on weekends, at last, publishing Plan B, his first novel in 2000. The book soon got the attention of an agent, which enabled him to stop his everyday employment and turn into a full-time author.
In 2004, he published The Book of Joe, his second novel. The book became optioned for recording at auction within the seven days of distribution.
