Tornado

Tornado is a South African Professional Wrestler. He works in the World Wrestling Professionals. His actual name is Steve Debbes but his famous by his ring name Tornado. Steve was born on the 3rd of April in the year 1966. He was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. He is 5 feet and 10 inches tall (178 cm). Initially, he used to play Judo. He started playing Judo at the age of five. Steve was a member of the Reitz Club in Gezina, Pretoria. He got trained under Wild Bill Murphy and Don Charles. He turned into a professional at the age of eighteen. He made his debut in the year 1985 with his real name. His son is a wrestler, and he owns a holiday resort with his wife. Steve changed his name into Tornado II after Donie Brits, the real Masked Tornado. He performed as Tornado for the first time in All Stars Wrestling. Donie passed on the Tornado title to him. At the initial stage of his career, he traveled to many places and toured in the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United States, Japan, and many more.

He removed his mask for the first time in a match against Steve Austin in Sun City, Superbowl in the year 1994. He later unmasked himself permanently after the death of his friend and All Stars Wrestling promoter Paul Loyd as a tribute to him. Steve became the International Wrestling Federation’s Heavyweight Champion in 2000 for the first time. He won the Heavyweight Championship title twice. He later won the All Africa Championship by International Wrestling Federation for the five times. He worked in the IWF training camp and trained many people. After the shut down of the International Wrestling Federation, he joined the World Wrestling Professionals in 2004. Steve got the World Wrestling Professional’s All-Africa Heavyweight Championship five times. He also won the World Heavyweight Championship two times. He got the Tag Team Championship twice. He was ranked 448 in the 500 best single wrestlers by Pro Wrestling Illustrated in the year 1993.
