David Beckham

David Beckham, whose actual name is David Robert Joseph Beckham, is a British footballer, famous for both, his skills and good looks. He also has two siblings. His maternal grandfather was a Jew. He went to Chingford County High School and Chase Lane Primary School.

Like all children of his age, he would play football in a nearby park. However, unlike others, he didn't just play it for passing the time but with sincerity and passion. His parents were football fanatics too and fervently supported Manchester United. They made it a point to attend as many matches as they can. David followed his parents and became a Manchester United fan himself.

His passion and skills won him a golden chance to take part in Barcelona's training session. He then began to play for Ridgeway Rovers, a local team and then moved on to play for Brimsdown Rovers.

On July 8, 1991, Manchester United signed him, and since then David had scored on severs occasions for the team. He has also played for Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Preston North End, and several other clubs. Besides this, he has represented England and has briefly lead it too. Like all players, even his career was riddled with highs and lows and controversies and criticism.

In 1997, he met Spice Girl’s teammate Victoria Adams and fell in love with her. Two years after their first meet, they both got married to each other in an extravagant wedding which had a budget of approximately five hundred thousand pounds. The couple has four children namely Brooklyn Joseph, Romeo James, Cruz David, and Harper Seven. David has several tattoos on his body and has gotten almost all his children's names inked.

His sons Romeo and Brooklyn have started doing modeling. There were several rumors of David cheating on Victoria but he dismissed all of them, and the couple is very much together and stronger.

The movie ‘Bend It Like Beckham’ chronicles his life, obstacles and achievements. He has made a guest appearance in Goal!, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, and The Man from U.N.C.L.E. David has also opened a football academy named David Beckham Academy which aims to harness and promote local talent in football. He has won Kids' Choice Sports Awards and Teen Choice Awards numerous times. David is associated with several charities too. He is one of the wealthiest footballers of all times.
