Stefani Joan Angelina Germanotta or ostentatiously known as Lady Gaga is a singer, philanthropist, fashion designer, actress, and songwriter. Gaga has five record-breaking albums and numerous chart-topping singles to her name. Gaga was also presented with a Woman of the Year Award in 2013, by the Glamour Magazine. Gaga has sold 27 million albums and more than 146 singles, worldwide. Gaga is also the recipient of 12 Guinness World Records, Fashion Icon Lifetime Achievement Award, a Contemporary Icon Award, and Six Grammy Awards. In 2011, Gaga grossed nearly $228 million, for her Monster Ball Tour, which lasted for more than a year. 2011 also saw Gaga release “Born This Way,” her second full-length album, which sold more than a million copies within just a week of its release in the United States. For “Born This Way,” Gaga received 3 Grammy Award nominations and sold more than 8 million albums worldwide. The March of 2012 also saw Gaga in the number four position of Billboard’s top grosser of 2011, earning roughly over $2 billion. In the same year, Gaga injured her thigh on a tour of Korea and had to cut short the trip.
