Kenneth Biller

Kenneth Todd Biller is a television writer, producer, director, and editor based in the United States. He was born on 23 December, 1964 in the United States of America. He completed his studies at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He is popularly known to have worked on a couple of American TV shows, including Beverly Hills, Legend of the Seeker and Perception, Star Trek Click to look into! >> Read More... : Voyager, and 90210. He is married and has two children living in Los Angeles, California.

Biller started his career in Hollywood in 1992 when he joined the crew of the show Beverly Hills: 90210 as an executive story editor. Next year, in 1993, he wrote another show called The X Files. In 1995, he joined the team of the famous TV Series, ‘Star Trek: Voyager’ and worked as an executive story editor. A year later, he co-produced the show and became its producer a year after that. During the sixth season of the show, Biller became the co-executive producer, and later got promoted to the position of executive producer and showrunner for the seventh and final season of Voyager.

For this, Biller received writing credits for several episodes of the show and directed various episodes, such as ‘ One One is a Telugu reality game show which airs on Ze >> Read More... ’ and ‘Revulsion.’ Biller also wrote the episode called ‘Unity’ in which the alien species, ‘Borg’ made its first appearance in Voyager who previously appeared in the Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: The Next Generation, and in the film, Star Trek: First Contact.

In 2008, Biller got involved in a series which was based on the fantasy novel series by Terry Goodkind, ‘Wizard's First Rule.’ This series was called ‘Legend of the Seeker,’ and it was created by ABC Studios for broadcast syndication. In the series, Biller started working as one of the executive producers along with Sam Raimi. Besides, he has been writing a crime drama series called Perception. He has also co-written the pilot episode along with a fellow former Voyager writer, Mike Sussman. Both Biller and Sussman enthusiastically collaborated for the creation of the series.

Some of the other projects of Biller include Hawkeye, Six Degrees, Dark Angel, Smallville, The Last Man on Planet Earth (TV movie), E-Ring, North Shore, Genius, and The Cleaning Lady.  Moreover, he has been nominated for the USC Scripter Award for Einstein: Chapter One (2017) and the Primetime Emmy Awards for the TV Series Genius.
