Rana Daggubati

Rana Daggubati is a famous Indian actor. He was born on 14 December, 1984 in Chennai. Rana is the grandson of legendary producer Daggubati Rama Naidu and son of the producer, D.Suresh Babu. He is the nephew of Venkatesh.. Rana has completed his entire childhood and schooling in Chennai. Rana has also done Photography course in Konica institute of Imaging and Technology. Before acting, Rana was an entrepreneur and his company name is Spirit Media. He was a successful Digital Post entrepreneur. His company has won Nandi award for special effects for the movie Sainikudu. Born with silver spoon in his mouth, Rana has not struggled a lot for movie chances.

He has the responsibility to continue his family legacy as a good actor. He made his debut with the Telugu film, Leader in 2010 directed by Sekhar Kammula. He acted as a politician in the movie. Though the movie has not been a commericial success, Rana got good marks for his acting skills. He got Filmfare for best debut actor. He entered Hindi field in the same year with Dam Maaro Dum. Because of his well packed body and extreme height he got national wide craze and is usually called as handsome hunk. He was voted as the most promising new comer of 2011 in the poll conducted by Times of India. Later, he has got various film chances and he acted in movie, Department, which is his second Hindi film.

He has acted with many big stars. He has shared the screen with actor Ajith in Aarambam, Akshay Kumar in Baby. Though, he is acting in many fields, he does not forget his mother Tongue-Telugu. He acts in atleast one Telugu movie every year. Few of his notable performances can be seen in Nenu Naa Rakshasi, Naa Ishtam, Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum, etc., In Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum, he excelled in acting and the movie was also a blockbuster. At present, he is very busy with two prestigious projects, Baahubali and Rudhramadevi. By mere coincidence he is playing historical characters in both the films. In his latest interview, he said that he will remain as the India’s best villain for the movie Baahubali. Rana is also a good friend of Ram Charan.
