Susan Walters

Susan Walters was born in Atlanta, Georgia on September 28, 1963. She is a former model and actress best known for her appearances as Lorna Forbes on the ABC daytime serial opera "Loving" from 1983 to late 1986 and as "Diane Jenkins" on the CBS soap opera "The Young and the Restless" from 2001 to 2004, and briefly again in 2010. Walters played Principal Rimkus on The CW's "One Tree Hill," Carol Lockwood on " The Vampire Diaries As is evident from the name, The Vampire Diaries d >> Read More... ," and Natalie Martin on "Teen Wolf." She went to Chamblee High School. Susan was named Miss Teen All American for the state of Georgia in 1981. Walters began her television career as Lorna Forbes Perelli on "Loving" from the premiere in June 1983 until late 1986. After Loving, her first part was in the 1987 film "Russkies."

Aaron Spelling cast Walters in numerous of his productions, including Hotel during its last season (as Ryan Thomas) 1987–1988. She portrayed Lee Gilrich in an episode of "Murder, She Wrote" in 1993.

Walters returned to daytime soap operas from 2001 until 2004, playing Diane Jenkins on "The Young and the Restless." Walters recurred as Carol Lockwood on "The Vampire Diaries" from 2009 to 2012. She first appeared as Principal Rimkus on "One Tree Hill" in 2009. In 2014, Walters appeared as a guest star or recurring character on three different shows: Maia in the CW series Star-Crossed, Lindsay in the CBS series Reckless, and Natalie Martin in the MTV series Teen Wolf. Walters appeared in season 2, episode 7 of "How To Get Away With Murder" in 2015.

Linden Ashby, an actor, is Walters' husband. They met on the set of Loving when they played Lorna Forbes and Curtis Alden's cousins. They frequently appear on the same TV show (Loving, Spy Games, Melrose Place, The War Next Door, The Young and the Restless, Teen Wolf). Frances Grace, born in 1991, and Savannah Elizabeth, born in 1992, are their two children.
