Founder and CEO of American Records, KJ Sanchez is an actress, writer, producer, and director. Born and brought up in Tome, New Mexico, she pursued her primary schooling at Belen Public School. Further, Mrs. Sanchez pursued a bachelor of arts from the University of California, San Diego, and a master of fine arts from there only. She has years of experience in directing for theatre, playwriting, acting, and producing. She spends her quality time at rivers, lakes, and creeks by playing music and watching grackles.
As soon as he completed his masters, Jon Jory casted her for Juliet and Ophelia. Further, being a company member of Ane Bogart’s SITI company, she acted in the plays like ‘Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream,’ ‘Sibyl in Private Lives,’ etc. Later on, she focused on her writing skills and wrote various series and documentaries such as ‘A Night at the Opera,’ ‘Joining Forces,’ ‘Life in the Middle,’ etc. For transforming her writings into series and movies, she initiated a theatre company titled ‘American Records.’ She then directed most of her writings and provided a voice to various notable characters of ‘Dora the Explorer’ and ‘Go, Diego! Go!’
