An actress, model, endorser, tv-host, philanthropist, social activist and a cancer survivor. Lisa Ray and her talents outnumbered the rest of actresses nowadays. Born on April 4, 1972 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. At the age of 16 she moved to Bombay and discovered by a model agent and discovered a new India’s Top Model.

She first appeared in an advertisement as an endorser for Bombay Dyeing. She got her first special appearance in a film “Hanste Khelte” in 1994. This was followed in 1996 movie “Nethaji.” She was also a cast in the movie “Kasoor” in 2001 and “Takkari Donga” and the part of Pop-Culture “Bollywood/Hollywood” in 2002. She was also made movies like “Ball & Chain, Yuvaraja, Oscar Winning Film “Water”, Seeking Fear, The Flowerman, Quarter Life Crisis, A Stone’s Throw, , The World Unseen, Psych, The Summit, Somnolence” and so much more. She has also upcoming movie titled “Ishq Forever” for 2015. She also appeared in TV-Series from 2005 to 2012 for the shows “The Standard, Great Canadian Books, The Marilyn Denis Show, Oh My Gold, The Hour and Top Chef Canada.” She also played the role “Princess Jahanara” for the theatrical show “Taj.”

Lisa was named to be the “Ambassador for Rado Watches” and “Pantene Beautiful Length” in India. She also endorsed her philanthropy works like “Artbound, in support of Free The Children”, “GIRL 20 SUMMIT”,”Estee Lauder Breast Cancer Awareness”,” Rhythm and Soul”-THE SPARK GALA 2012, to Ignite A Child's Potential” and more. She received the “Diamond Jubilee Medal” in 2013. She also received various awards like “Star of The Future (Toronto-2002)”, “Top Ten most Beautiful Indian Woman of the Millenium” by the “Times of India”, “Best Actress” for the movie Water, “Voice Achievers Award” in 2009, “50 Most Beautiful Stars” in Canada-2009, “Special Achievement Award” in 2011, “50 Most Beautiful Stars” in “Hello Canada” for May 2012 issue.

Lisa ray was diagnosed and a known survivor of the rare disease known as “Multiple Myeloma.” Cancer in white blood cells. She successfully surpassed the stem-cell transplant and announced that she’s cancer free in April 2010. On October 2012, Lisa and Jason Dehni announced their engagement and marriage in Napa Valley, in California.
