Leanna Wigginton

Leanna Wigginton is an actress, known for Dead Crazy and Golden Rule, both of which released in 2011. She qualified the three years of acting/ musical theater from the London Studio Centre in the year 2003. She went to London at the age of 16 to train as a dancer. Since then, she has traveled around the world and also played a lead role in an Indian film. She can tap and stilt walk too. She has worked as a nanny for quite a few years. Later, she realized her interest in the field of acting. She knows various North American accents like Boston, Californian, Texas, Southern American, and can speak Australian, French and Indian accents as well. She is an excellent singer and also knows various dance forms like Ballet, Ballroom, Bellydance, Bollywood, Contemporary, Folk, Street Dance, Tango, Salsa, Hip Hop, Cabaret Dancing, Jazz, and Jive. Her additional skills include horse-riding, badminton, scuba diving, skiing, swimming, roller skating, yoga, narration, impersonation, mime, and improvisation. Her voice is bright and peppy. Leanna often uses her voice for children storytelling and educational voiceovers. She played the lead role in Golden Rule. She has appeared in many other films like, In the Name of God, ‘Bind’, Life’s Journey, Worst of Luck, Science of Dating, ‘Fossil’, ‘Untimely’, Red Brain, London Road, and Worn Out Festival Blues. Leanna also acted in various theatres and musicals. Some examples are: Lady Audley’s Secret, Into the Woods, Chorus Line, Murder Liquor and Jazz, The Shakespeare Conspiracy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Love Of The Nightingale, More Light, Where Does The Moon Go, Divine Words, and The Nativity Play Goes Wrong.

Besides that, she did voiceovers for Story Teller. She has received the Best New Media Writing Award for Evidence at the Pool Literary Festival. She also has her Toy company where she makes toys out of recycled items. Furthermore, she is an adventure-loving person.
