Dakota Blue Richards

Dakota was born on 11th April 1994, in London. Her mother named her “Dakota Blue” as she wanted an amalgamation of color and place. She did her bachelors from California in 'Campbell Hall School' And later she joined'New York University.' Her first recognition appearance was in 2006 in the film The Golden Compass; she played the main role as Lyra Belacqua. She also appeared in Dustbin Baby and The Secret of Moonacre. Richards was nine and loved her mother narrating the book His Dark Materials to her. She wanted to b like the female character of the book in her real life.

Later than when she visited the stage variation at the National Theatre, she quoted “I want to be Lyra.” She gained personal tuitions for her acting which she believed it helped her in her growth. Her movie ‘Golden Compass’ released globally in 2007. Unexpectedly the movie became the turning point of her acting. After the success, she further did many films like ‘Skins’. She in her career did many short but successful films. In April 2012 she appeared in The Fold in Bristol and Cornwall. She gave a shot for a supernatural series in ITS THRILLER.

Dakota Richards along with the actress is a model as well. In 2011, she campaigned for Oceans with the theme of overfishing where she posed naked with two other models carrying a huge fish. She also did a London-based marketable shoot for “ immortal Sorapol.”
