Karen Jane Allen is an American artiste who played the role of Ravenwood in Raiders of Lost Ark. She was born on October 5, 1951, in Carrollton, Illinois, United States to a teacher Ruth Patricia and Caroll Thompson Allen, who is an FBI agent. She hails from an English, Scottish, Welsh and Irish decent. She is married to Kale Browne and has a child named Nicholas brownie. She is usually seen on TV shows such as East of Eden and The Road Home.
EARLY AGE She is known to have changed many schools as her father moved places and she claims to be deprived of ever having any lasting friendship as a kid. Die was graduated from Duval High School, Maryland at the age of 17. Later she moved to
New York city to study fashion designing in Fashion Institute of Technology. She then attended the University of Maryland for almost one and half years then later joined the Shakespeare and company in Massachusetts. She moved on to the city of New York and studied at Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute.
CAREER She was struck by fame when Allen made her major début in "National Lampoons Animal House in 1978. Her other two films named" The Wanderers " in 1979 and" A small Circle of Friends "in 1980 also gained a lot of popularity. She also appeared as a guest star for a pilot episode in 1979, where she played the role of Annie Farigate, daughter of Don Murray.
