Elisabeth Moss was born on 24th July 1982, to a musical family of Ron and Linda Moss. She was raised in Los Angeles, California. In her early childhood days, she had always dreamt of being a professional dancer. During her early teen ages, she traveled to
City to learn ballet at the school of American Ballet. She kept on practicing her dance throughout her teenage days. But she also developed a keen interest in acting which resulted in getting in several acting roles. To maintain a balance in both aspects, she had opted for homeschooling. She graduated at the age of 16 in 1999.
She made her debut role on TV in 1990, appearing in the miniseries
’ Lucky/Chances. And she had also appeared to many dramas to date. She is well acclaimed of her work in several TV series. For her sheer talent and flawless acting she was presented Primetime Emmy Awards for twice and Golden Globe awards twice. And her enormous success led Vulture to crown her with the name the, ‘Queen of Peak TV’. She captured public attention for playing Zoey Bartlet, the youngest daughter of President Josiah Bartlet, in the NBC political drama series The West Wing(1999–2006). Wider recognition came for enjoying Peggy Olson, a secretary-turned-copywriter, within the AMC period drama series Mad Men (2007–2015).
She came across to
in October 2008. They two developed love for each other and by 25th of October 2009, they tied their knot at Long Island City, New York. But eventually their marriage fell apart. And they mutually filed a divorce. By May 2011 it was finalized. Currently she is practicing Scientology. And is an active feminist.
