Casey Wilson was born to 'Kathy' and 'Paul O. Wilson' on 24th of October,1980. She was born and brought up in Alexandria, Virginia with Fletcher Wilson, her younger brother. She pursued her graduation from 'T.C William High School' and completed it in 1998. She also graduated in 2002 from 'Tisch School of Art, New York Univeristy', where she studied theater. At the 'Upright Citizens Brigade Theater', NYU, she studied Improvisational Comedy.

She along with '' won the Award of 'Emerging Comics of New York' for Best Comic Duo for "Rode Hard and Put Away Wet" which was a stage show (2003-2006). This comedy duo collaborated to co-write their first screenplay for the movie (2009) which was a comedy flick. Bachelorette Party and You Complete Me are some scripts that they are working on.

Casey debuted as an actress in For Your Consideration (2006) which was directed by . She was also seen in the movie (2014) by . Other movies that she was a part of are Julie and Julia (2009), Freak Dance (2011), (2012), Breakup Girl (2015) and many more. She will also be starring in Max Landis' next comedy film Me Him Her. She appeared in ABC's Happy Endings which is a comedy series and aired till 3 seasons. She played the role of Penny Hartz and had three nominations to her name. After this sitcom got discontinued, she came back in Marry Me (2014), another of ABC's presentation which also got canceled after a season.

She made several guest appearances in television shows like How I Met Your Mother, Drunk History etc. She is currently starring in The Hotwives, which is Hulu's presentation. Hulu is an Online Company. It is a series which parodies The Real Housewives. Casey met David Caspe while auditioning for Happy Endings. She dated him after a year that they met and married on May 25, 2014. She gave birth to a baby boy on May, 2015.
