Avril Lavigne is a singer, songwriter and an actress from Canada. She was born on 27th September 1984 in Belleville, Ontario. Her potential singer qualities were uncovered by her mother and her grandmother when Avril was only two years old. At the age of 15, she won a contest on the radio to perform on stage with Shania Twain. Her parents encouraged her to participate in shows, karaoke sessions and country fairs. She gave vocals to three of Stephen Medd’s songs. Her professional manager, Cliff Fabri, found her in December 1999. Then started a stream of meeting different producers, and she finally signed a record deal with Arista Records and left school to focus on her music. 

At the record company, they worked hard for several months to give her the voice that suited her personality. Her debut album, Let Go, was released in June 2002 in the United States. It climbed up to number two on Billboard 200 albums chart and number one at the UK albums chart. Avril made the record of being the youngest female singer to have her number top the UK albums chart. Her second album, Under My Skin, came out in May 2004 and reached number one at the Billboard 200. She received her first number one US Billboard Hot 100 single in April 2007, when her third album, The Best Damn Thing was released. Her fourth album, Goodbye Lullaby, was released in March 2011 and her fifth album, Avril Lavigne, was released in November 2013. She debuted in films by giving her voice to an animated character in the movie ‘Over the Hedge’ in 2006. Her first feature role was in Fast Food Nation that came out in November 2006. In August 2006, she was ranked seven in the list of top Canadian actors in Hollywood by Canadian Business magazine. 

Avril has launched her own fashion line called Abbey Dawn. She has released three perfumes called Black Star (released in 2009), Forbidden Rose (released in 2010) and Wild Rose (released in 2011). She was married to Deryck Whibley, the lead singer and guitarist of Sum 41. They got divorced in 2010. Avril has been married to Chad Kroeger since 2013.

Born on August 9, 1976, Audrey Justine Tautou is a French actress and a model. She was born in Beaumont, France to Bernard Tautou, a dental surgeon, and Evelyne Marie Laure, a teacher. Audrey’s entry into the film industry was at a very young age when she was signed by an agent at the age of 17. Her acting debut came on television when she was 18 years old. The following year she featured in her first feature film Venus Beauty Institute (1999). Her acting in this movie was received well by the critics, and it also gave her, her first award- the Cesar Award for Most Promising Actress. Her subsequent movies were Le Libertin and Happenstance, which was released in the year 2000. The movie that achieved her international acclaim and recognition from critics was ‘Amelie’. The movie won several awards which included four Cesar Awards (including Best Director and Best Film), Best Film at the European Film Awards, two BAFTA Awards, and five Oscar nominations. Since Amelie, Audrey Tautou has featured in various kinds of genres, which includes the thrillers The Da Vinci Code and Dirty Pretty Things, and the romantic drama Priceless, which released in 2006. She has been nominated for two BAFTA awards in the Best Actress category and thrice for the Cesar Award. A lot of roles have received critical acclaim. These include the A Very long Engagement, which released in 2004 and also the 2009 biographical drama Coco Avant Chanel. In June 2004, she was invited to be a part of the prestigious Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS). This made her a part of an exclusive group of French actors who have been invited to join the AMPAS. Tautou is also a successful model, having modeled for L’Oreal, Chanel, Montblanc and many other fashion houses. She is currently working on the Simone Cousteau drama The Odyssey, which is scheduled to be released later this year.

She acted in two TV series in 2013: Shtisel and Hostages. In 2015, she was cast in two movies: Last Knights and Last Days in the Desert. She has been cast to play the role of Vanessa Marianna in the Marvel TV series, Daredevil. She’s currently filming for the upcoming movie, Ben-Hur. She has also participated in theater. In US, she acted in plays such as A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She is also a model and has walked the ramp for Honigman and Golf.
