Jason Michael Lee was born on 25 April, 1970, in the Huntington City of California, USA. He is currently residing in Texas, USA.
Jason is an American actor who had a very simple family background. His parents were normal middle-class people. His father, Greg, was a manager and did dealerships in cars. His mother, Carol, was a homemaker. He is an alumnus of the Ocean View High School, California.
The actor was married twice. His first marriage was to Carmen Llywelyn, who is an American actress and a professional photographer. Carmen and Jason tied the knot in 1995, but because of some personal issues, they got divorced in 2001. Currently, he is married to Ceren Alkac. They got married in the year 2008. He is a father of three children.
Jason was also in a relationship with Beth Jean Riesgraf, the actress from the TV show, ‘Leverage’.
Before making his debut in the American cinema, Jason was a professional skateboarder. He started his career in skateboarding in the early years of the 1990s. In 1992, Jason and his skater friend, Chris Dunes, together, founded the Stereo Skateboards.
Lee was also one of the co-chairmen of the event, 9th annual Stand-Up Skateparks. He was also one of the contestants at this event. Other than this, he was a part of many video films on skateboarders.
From the year 1992 onwards, Jason stepped into the film industry with small roles in music videos and films. He debuted in the 1995 American comedy, ‘Mallrats’. In this film, he had to play the role of Brodie Bruce, who was the best friend of T. S. Quint (Jeremy London). It was one of his major roles and garnered him a lot of publicity.

He is the producer of the TV show, ‘Shredd’, in 2011, and My Name is Earl, from 2005 to 2009.
Jason was the recipient of the Independent Spirit Award for the Best Supporting Male Actor for the movie, Chasing Amy, in 1997. In 2000, he was nominated for the Blockbuster Entertainment Award in the category of Favorite Supporting Actor, for the movie Almost Famous.
