There he found Iko looking fabulous in front of a camera and found him to be very devoted. Then this director decided to cast Iko for Merantau, the first movie of martial art. In this film, Iko was in leading role. Iko signed a contract for five years with his company and after than he gave resignation from the old job, where he was an operational driver in Asia, a firm in telecoms, where he was working in day shifts. In Indonesia, On 6 August 2009, Merantau was released. This movie was also a part in South Korea and South film festivals named Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival and South Festival in Austin, Texas respectively.

There were highly positive reviews about the movie in the festival. In a fest in 2010, this film won an award for best film. Inui Takumi, who is a reviewer for movies in Risingsuntokusatsu.com, said that Iko took the charm of innocence in his movie that was a plus point for him. He said that surely director of a film would have got fascinated by Iko’s enthusiasm as well as personality. He looked for quality of star in him and therefore started working immediately on him. With this, he added, that his looks and his god gifted talent would take him in a status of martial art legend.

Iko’s second project with Evans was for the film, The Raid. The shooting began in 2011, mid of March and this movie came to cinemas in the mid of 2012. In various festivals, this film was praised as the best film in martial arts. He joined Evans in the third project in the film Raid 2. While talking about his personal life, he married singer Audy, on June 25, 2012, in Jakarta at Hotel Gran Mahakam.

Ian Wolfe was born in Illinois, the United States on 4th November 1896. He was an actor by profession and also a theater artist. He was a part of more than 400 films and delivered his best performance in most of them. He was interested in acting since he was a child. He was the industry since 1934 and worked with many great actor and actress and collaborated with many directors and producers. He debuted in the film world with “The Barrett’s of Wimpole Street” but his portrayal of the character did not fetch his popularity neither he came in the eyes of the audience. He is an American by birth, but they usually cast him as an Englishmen because of his exposure and enactment qualities. Ioan Gruffudd

Ioan Gruffudd is a Welsh actor. He was born on 6th October in 1973. His birthplace was Cardiff in Glamorganshire, Wales. He was the eldest child. He had three brothers and sisters. His parents were Gillian and Peter. Both of them were teachers. His dad was a headmaster in Ysgol Gyfun Llan Hari and then joined Ysgol Gyfun Rhydfelen. He had a brother, Alun and a sister named Siwan. He and his family shifted to Cardiff. He studied at Ysgol Gymraeg Aberdar, Ysgol Gymraeg Glantaf, and Ysgol Melin Gruffydd. He achieved an 8th level grade in the music exams of ABRSM. He had performed in South Glamorgan Youth Orchestra for many years. He later left it, as he wanted to continue up his acting. He had received several awards for his euphonious singing during his school time. One of them was the National Eisteddfod. Ioan was a member of Church of Christ in London. Coming to his career, at the age of 13, he appeared in a film named Austin. From 1987 to 1984, he had performed in the daily soap titled Pobol y Cwm. He used to play football with the football team along with Hywel Emrys, Lean Rhys, and Gwyn Elfyn. He had participated in various stage performances in school. At the age of 18, he went to London to study arts at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. He had a lead role of George in Hedda Gabler.
