Emile Davenport Hirsch is a well-known American actor, born on 13th of March in Topanga Canyon, California. Emile’s mother, Margaret Esther, is a visual artist and teacher whereas, his father David M. Hirsch is a businessman. His elder sister is Jennifer Bolduc. He was brought up in Los Angeles, California & New Mexico (lived with his mother after his parents got divorced). On 27 October 2013, Emile’s first child was born named Valor. He completed his education at Paul Revere Middle School and Hamilton Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Los Angeles. At a very young age of 11, he got his first acting chance in an episode of a TV show ‘Kindred: The Embraced’ in 1996, that aired on Fox channel.
He has put in efforts in many films, but he is known for his performance in Sean Penn One of the talented, award winning and intelligent >> Read More... ’s ‘Into The Wild’ that released in 2007. In this movie, he portrayed the character of Christopher McCandless. It is based on the true story of Christopher McCandless who gave away all his money & hitchhiked to Alaska to live in the wilderness. One year later, he teamed with Sean Penn again, for his film ‘Milk’ (2008), based on the story of gay rights activist, Harvey Milk. Emile played the role of Cleve Jones. He has won the Critics’ Choice Awards as the Best Acting Ensemble for his performance in this movie. Apart from acting, Emile wrote a travelogue called ‘Congo Diary’ in December 2008. He ventured into Africa with four young activists and kept a journal of his 5-day trip. He also has appeared on many magazine covers including Teen Vogue, Movie line, etc.
On February 2015, he was charged with assault after choking Paramount executive Daniele Bern Feld, in January 2015 at the Tao Nightclub in Park City. Later, in August 2015, he pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault and had spent 15 days in jail, paid a $4750 fine and performed fifty hours of community services.
