Eddie Marsan English Actor

Eddie Marsan’s actual name was Edward Maurice Charles. He was born on 9 June 1968 in Stepney, London. He attended Raine’s Foundation School as he was brought up in Bethnal Green. And then he worked as a trainee to a printer and left school. He was taught at the “Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts” in earlier 90’s and then studied at “The Academy of the Science of Acting and Directing”, in which Marsan is a contributor too. Marson is married to Janine Schnieder. She’s a makeup artist. Marson has four children. 

Later Marsan entered into television. ”Game On” was one of his most significant earliest television appearances in the mid 90’s.Then he also acted in “Casualty,” “The Bill,” “Kavanagh QC” and “The Best of Men.” He portrayed “Terry Donovan,” the brother of the lead character in drama series “Ray Donovan”.  He also acted as practical magician “Gilbert Norell” in the 7-part BBC TV drama “Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norell”.

Marsan also starred in several Hollywood films as a villain. This includes “Hancock”, a Superman movie. Besides, Marson had won some prestigious awards too which includes “National Society of Film Critics Award for Best Supporting Actor”, and the “London Film Critics Circle Award for Best Supporting Actor” for his acting in “Happy-Go-Lucky” and “Vere Drake”. He also won “Best Supporting Actor award from Detroit Film Critics Society Award” and “New York Film Critics Circle Award for Best Supporting Actor” for his best performance in “Happy-Go-Lucky”.

According to Marsan acting is a simple job but we have to be dedicated. Also, one should get immersed in the character. 

Eddie tied the nuptial knot to Janine Scheider during 2002. The couple is blessed with four children.
