David Kross is a German actor. He started his acting career at the age of 12. He first appeared on the big screen in the movie Hilfe in the year 2012, when he was just 12 years old. He played the role of Michael Berg in the movie and also received a Sierra Award. Kross has worked in some German and English movies. Kross was born on 4th July 1990 in Henstedt-Ulzburg. He was raised in Bargteheide. He completed his schooling from Eckhorst High School in 2007. Kross is also a Basketball player. He played at the professional TSV from 2004 to 2006. After working a child artist, Kross made his debut in the film industry with the movie die Herdmanns kommen. His performance in the movie gathered the attention of many producers including Detlev Buck, and he was called to audition for Tough Enough. In 2005, Kross was hired by Buck to play the lead role of a young teenager who moves to the Neukoelln area from a rich area with his mother. Because of his acting skills in the movie, Kross was not only praised at the Berlinale, but he even won the Best Actor in Nuremberg 11th Film Festival.
