Before studying Film & Television from Tel Aviv University, he paid his services in the Israeli army for three years. As a teenager, Isaac developed an ardent love for karate and started his professional karate lessons in 1978. In the following year, Isaac opened his first karate academy where he taught and practiced regularly. His passion and determination for karate made him interested in martial arts and from here began his journey as a director of martial arts and action films.

Isaac's life changed in 1987 when he made his first ever short movie, named, "Farewell Terminator." Isaac also made his acting debut with the film. The film received much critical attention and went on to win several awards at the Mograbee Film Festival. It was the success of "Farewell Terminator" which opened the gates of Hollywood for Isaac, and gave him the chance to direct his first feature film, titled, "Desert Kickboxer." Issac told in an interview that he is a huge fan of Bollywood action drama; he even claimed that he had watched various Bollywood films, and his favorite is "Commando: A One Man Army." Isaac claimed in an interview that working for the franchise had been the best learning experience of his career. The actor is married and has four beautiful children. Thus, it can be believed that the actor owing to his dedication and loyalty towards his work has been able to make a name for himself in the Hollywood Industry. Apart from being a talented director, Isaac is also a great martial arts trainer. He has dedicated his life to make martial arts a major film genre and has succeeded in his endeavors with millions of fans loving him and his projects.
