Craig Parkinson

Craig Parkinson is a British actor. He has worked on various television series and movies. He is best known for his character in the television drama Misfits, Whitechapel, Line of Duty. He has worked in movies such as Soulboy, Four Lions, Control, and The Unloved. Craig was born in Lancashire. He did his schooling from Blackpool and graduated from The Fylde College. He was very passionate about acting from a young age and would participate in school plays. At the age of seventeen, he moved to London and went to the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. He started his career playing small roles in the British television series like The Bill, Dalziel and Pascoe, and Holby City. In 2007, he played a role in Control, which was a biopic of singer Ian Curtis. He played the role of Tony Wilson. In 2008, he became a part of the movie The Taxidermist, in which he played the role of a Taxidermist. The film was very much appreciated and won many awards, including 'Best Live Action Film over 15 minutes,' at the Palm Springs International Short Film Festival, 'Best Short Film' at the Island International Horror Film Festival. In 2009, he was a part of the drama The Unloved, by Samantha Morton in which he played the role of an abusive care worker. The movie also starred Lauren Socha.

He was later seen in the Misfits, in which he was paired opposite Susan Lynch. In 2010, he was seen in Whitechapel, a television series. He played a twin character in the series. In the same year, he was part of the movie SoulBoy in which he played the role of Alan and Brighton Rock. In 2011, he starred in the film Ghosted in which he played a violent psychotic prisoner. In the same year, he was a part of the sitcom In with the Flynns aired by the BBC. He was seen in Line of Duty, which was a crime drama aired on BBC. In 2012, he was a part of The Secret of Crickley Hall, which was adapted from a novel by James Herbert.
