Bentley Mitchum

Bentley Mitchum, an American actor, has performed in about more than 40 movies and TV series, containing Ruby in Paradise, which won the Sundance grand critics award, The Wonder Years, The Man in the Moon, Conviction, Meatballs 4, Susie Q, Shark Attack and Demonic Toys. He was the first American actor playing the main protagonist in an Indian Tamil language film, named Little John alongside actress Jyothika. Bentley is the grandson of star Robert Mitchum, the son of Christopher Mitchum and the niece of James Mitchum.

He made his debut with a TV movie, Promises to Keep along with the three. Robert, Christopher, James played roles with similar relationships. Bentley went to USC and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in the field of acting and drama. Bentley was also interested in singing and hence he started a musical band named The Velvet Box. He first appeared in the movie The Man in the Moon in the role of Billy Sanders. It was by director Robert Mulligan and was a new age romantic drama of that time.
