Andrew N. Chalmers is a teen actor in Toronto, Canada. He was born on December 21, 1992. This 23-year old actor has shown maturity over his performance as he appeared in minor roles earlier and then slowly positioned himself in stronger roles in films and television. So far he had played 15 roles in television and feature films.
In the year 2005, Andrew played the lead role of Harry in a 52-episode animated television series named’ Harry and His Bucket Full of Dinosaurs’ particularly meant for children show. It was telecast on Télétoon in Canada on August 29, 2005. Simultaneously, the show was also broadcast in Asia, Australia, Latin America, and several European countries.
The TV series was later copied in DVD format and was sold in two volumes. In this TV series Harry( actor Andrew) played with the dinosaurs by jumping into the bucket, which transports him to another world, called DinoWorld. Through this series, he got recognition as a child actor. Earlier, Chalmers even appeared in an American-Canadian television series ‘Darcy's Wild Life’ which was broadcast on Discovery Kids and the Family Channel. The show was filmed during 2004-2995. In this series, he played the role of a little brother who craves to be famous and always tries to do something either to get money or fame.
The actor’s smile, the cute look has been always a plus factor for his screen presence. Also, he was very spontaneous before the camera. He made his debut in 2001 by playing a minor role in the science fiction television series ‘Mutant X’. He also appeared in very selective and popular TV movies such as ‘ Molly: An American Girl on the Home Front’ where he narrated character of Ricky McIntire. The film was released by Warner Bros(DVD) and Disney Channel (TV). The actor even stole the show by appearing in another TV movie that was telecast in Lifetime cable channel named ‘Comfort and Joy’ (2003).
